#10 Men's Lacrosse Falls to #13 Stevens Institute of Technology

Matt Nelligan tallied three goals for the Bombers.
Hoboken, N.J. – The 10th-ranked men’s lacrosse team fell to 1-1 on the season after dropping a 17-9 decision to 13th-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology Friday evening.
 
The Bombers led the Ducks until 3:31 of the second period, when Stevens tacked on two more goals to take a 8-6 lead at halftime. Ithaca scored just three goals in the second half and the Ducks added nine to wrap up the win.
 
Junior Matt Nelligan (Pingree School/Rowley, Mass.) lead the team with three goals, while classmates Logan Bobzien (Arapahoe/Centennial, Colo.) and Kevin Bush (Arapahoe [Colo.]/East Point, Fla.) each recorded two goals. Midfielders Kyle Golden (Ossining/Briarcliff) and Mike Nowak (Ballston Spa/Ballston Spa) each notched one goal for Ithaca.
